PAIA gives individuals the right to request access to records held by private bodies, subject to certain requirements and limitations.

NovaThrive Technologies (Pty) Ltd operates a financial technology platform providing informational services and facilitating access to services through licensed partners where applicable.

How to request records

Requests for access to records must be submitted in writing and must include sufficient detail to identify:

• The record being requested;
• The identity and contact details of the requester;
• The form of access requested (where applicable);
• The purpose of the request where required by law.

Processing of requests

Requests will be assessed in accordance with PAIA requirements. Access may be granted, refused, or partially granted depending on applicable legal restrictions, confidentiality obligations, or the protection of personal or commercial information.

Fees

Where permitted by law, reasonable administrative fees may apply to requests for access to records as prescribed under PAIA regulations.
